God Intended for us to Live Forever

Before Adam and Eve sinned, they were able to eat from the tree of life. It was a tree in the midst of the garden. (Gen. 2:9). When they sinned against God, God would not let them eat of it (Gen. 3:17). If Adam and Eve would have eaten from the tree of life, they would have gained eternal life. God drove out Adam from the garden of Eden, and he placed Cherubims and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life (Gen 3: 23-24). Because Adam and Eve sinned, they were subject to death.
Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That’s how they sinned. They were not suppose to eat the fruit of that tree. When they did, they were as gods knowing good and evil (Gen 3:5). Sin was then brought into the world. Now, we have to die. The serpent told Eve that she would not surely die. No, she didn’t die right then and there. However, sometime in her life, she was going to grow old and die. The same thing goes for us today. God never intended for us to die. He intended for us to live forever.
Now, we have Jesus Christ who died for our sins. To me, he is the tree of life that offers us eternal life. The Bible said that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1John 5:11) In heaven, John saw a tree of life. (Rev. 22:2).…..which bare twelve manner of fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
There is something special about fruit. Fruit is very healthy for us. God never intended for us to eat meat. Fruit was Adam and Eve’s meat. Now, we eat all kinds of meat, but I can’t wait to eat from the tree of life. That will be the day that I can live forever and never have to die again.
God never intended us to eat mean? I don’t totally agree with that, but I see how you come to that conclusion. Do you consider fish to be meat? I do. It’s different from beef and pork but it’s a type of meat. Jesus wouldn’t had fed the masses with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread if what you’re saying is true. God did that with his own hands. Nope, I don’t agree with you.
You’re in the new testament. I’m talking about at the very beginning in the old testament. Adam did not kill animals to eat in the beginning.
Animals have blood and they have flesh. God did not intend for us to eat flesh, and still today, we should not eat blood. It is the life of the body.
In Moses time, the people craved to eat meat and complained so much that God gave them quails to eat.
Exodus 16:12 “I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel; speak to them, saying, ‘At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.’”
Exodus 16:13 and it came to pass, that at even the quails came up and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.
This is where I got my info. Yes, Jesus ate fish. It was a clean meat. [Lev. 11 talks about “Clean” and “Unclean”. And there are things the new testament talks about when it comes to clean and unclean. God made all things clean. Yet and still, some things may not be clean for us to eat. I have heard that possums eat dead people. I certaintly wouldnot want to eat a possum.
